Privacy Notice

Last updated October 14, 2026

Bell Tutor is an AI voice tutor run by CodeAlpha, LLC ("we"). Bell Tutor is made for children, including children under 13, and we sell it only to their parents and guardians. This notice explains what we collect, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Who to contact

CodeAlpha, LLC, Texas, USA · [email protected] · 903-339-5048

What we collect

From you, the parent: your name, email address, time zone, your child's first name and grade, the session times you book, and a record of your consent (the wording, time and internet address). Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store the card number.

From your child, while a session is running:

We don't ask children for their last name, address, phone number, photos, or any contact details, and Bell Tutor is instructed not to ask for them. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't show ads.

How we use it

Only to tutor your child: to hear and answer them, to see their lesson, to remember their progress, and to keep the service working and safe. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. A child is never asked to give more information than tutoring needs.

Who helps us (and sees some of it)

Our app server and database are run by CodeAlpha, LLC in Texas. We require these companies to use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect a child's safety.

How long we keep it

How we protect it

Encrypted connections (https), a private link for each child that you can replace at any time, access limited to CodeAlpha staff who need it, and each child's history kept separate.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

Revoking consent stops the service and deletes your child's history. We'll confirm by email.

Changes

If we change how we collect or use your child's information in a meaningful way, we'll email you and ask for your consent again first.
